SHPE Puget Sound MentorSHPE Program 2009 - 2010

Mission

The program’s primary goal is to establish a relationship between the mentee and mentor that facilitates better career decision-making and the development of a network that can result in increased job opportunities.

MentorSHPE program events 2009-2010
  • Dec. 4: Meet your mentor/mentee:  Christmas dinner and white elephant gift exchange @ Caspian Grill in Seattle 6:30 - 9:30 pm
  • Jan 16: Resume, cover letter and interview Workshop @ Herrera Environmental Consultants 10 am - 2 pm
  • Feb 19: Boardgame Night (Mentors vs. mentees and team competitions) 7 pm - 10 pm
  • June 12: End of the year gala banquet (Ticket Sales)

Registration has been CLOSED.

Mentees:

- To be a registed and paid member of the University of Washington SHPE chapter or Seattle University SHPE chapter

- Must be able to commit to full length of program (December 2009 - May 2010)

Mentors:

- To be a registed and paid SHPE PSC member
